There is an interesting history to the Cambodia casinos that lie just over the border from nearby Thailand, where gambling hall wagering is against the law. Eight gambling halls are anchored in a generally tiny area in the metropolis of Poipet in Cambodia. Another one of the eight gambling dens in Poipet, again a part of a motel, is the Princess Casino with 166 slot machines and 97 games. The Star Vegas Casino is part of an all-around vacation and hotel complex that highlights many amenities accompanying the casino, which offers 10,000 sq.ft. of 130 one armed bandits and 88 table games.
